Dan lost 19 lbs during our time working together.
Prior to starting the program with me Dan had lost about 40 pounds, but said that he had been stuck at a plateau for almost a year. He couldn't lose any more and he was still far from his college days of 240 pounds when he played basketball.
Dan had a doctor visit where there was still concern of his high blood pressure, and he did not want to continue taking medication.
He also wanted to make sure that he was able to keep up with his kids as he was getting later and later into his 40's
He also wanted to "Look good naked" and feel more romantic around his wife.
Dan told me that if he could drop the weight he would have more energy, be more effective at work, and he had recently gotten back into martial arts, so he would also like to improve his performance.
Well 12 weeks later Dan feels amazing.
He also has more energy and has noticed this in both his mental performance as well as his performance in martial arts.
His doctor was also impressed with his results and how he looked and he is now completely off blood pressure medication.
Forrest lost about 13 pounds. Weight that forest says “I didn’t think I actually had that much fat to lose!”
Forrest feels and looks stronger and leaner. He said, “I never thought I’d be at my high school weight again.”
Now Forrest was already in pretty good shape, but he still felt like he didn’t have the energy levels he wanted. He didn’t feel confident in the way he looked and felt, and he really was kind of lost on what to do.
We developed some simple changes that worked with his busy (and sometimes chaotic) work schedule. And he has developed his own foundations on how to continue this journey as well as a toolbox so he can make the proper pivots as different obstacles in life approach.
Another part of the Journey and goals that Forrest and I set at the beginning was that he wanted to improve the relationship he had with his wife.

Joel is a qualified and certified coach in Nutrition, certified FlexDiet coach under Dr. Mike T Nelson, Personal trainer specializing in science based strength training, A certified conditioning coach under Joel Jamison, with special interest in Heart rate variability(certified), Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR certified) genetic coaching (certified) metabolic health and blood panel work and research (Studied under Dr. Bryan Walsh and Dr. Ben House) as well as breathing and movement improvements. He has a bachelors degree in Health science including Radiology and healthcare administration where he spent over 20 years improving health departments and coaching personal to be their best.
Prior to my 25 years of hospital work in X-ray, Angiography, Surgery, as well as managing various departments within the healthcare system, I was studying various interests including phycology,, writing, martial arts, acting, the power of mythology and was a gymnast under Olympic coach Yoichi Tomata. I am extremely passionate about empowering others to feel and look their best and unleash the hero that resides in us all.
